Main Settlements - Piraketa Khevsureti

Khevsureti of Aragvi River, Piraketa Khevsureti is the area south of the Greater Caucasus Ridge, which divides it from Pirikita Khevsureti (literally Behind-the-Ridge Khevsureti), located in the riverbeds of Arghuni and Asa Rivers where brave communities of Shatili, Ardoti and Arkhoti are settled. As a matter of fact, the core Khevsureti used to be southern, Piraketa part in the earlier Middle Ages. In Pirikiata Khevsureti we can find important settlements of Roshka, Likoki and Barisakho.
