Main Settlements - Pshavi

Bude Pshavi (Core, literally „Nest“ Pshavi) used to be a small historical region lying near the springs of Pshavi Aragvi River. It comprised the villages of what is nowadays Shuapkho Community on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Ridge in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. During 19th century, the Pshavs settled also the territories lower on the Pshavi Aragvi (near Chargali and Magharoskari) as well as the upper reaches of the Iori River in the neighbouring Tianeti Municipality to the south-east.
