Main Settlements - Gudamakari

Gudamakari is a small historical geographic area in northeast Georgia on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Located along the river valley of Aragvi, it is bordered by Mtiuleti on the west, Khevi on the north, Khevsureti and Pshavi on the east, and Khando and Chartali communities on the south.

Chokhi is a village in Georgia, Dusheti Municipality, Gudamakari community. It is located on the southern slope of Mtiuleti-Pshavi Ridge on the left side of Black Aragvi river, 1760 m above sea level, 63 km from Dusheti. In the village are located the shrine of Pirimze-Pudzis Angelozi as well as the memorial museum of a native of the village, famous writer and filmmaker Goderdzi Chokheli.
